I will be going to DC next Wednesday, April 29. Please pray for me. Along with Supreme Court Building, the Capitol, the White House and the Indian Affairs Committee Hearing, I am intending to target the United Methodist Building as a representation of the Institutional Church (which includes all denominations and independent churches, not just "mainline") in the United States of America.

Our mission to Berlin this time was full of sickness and accompanying tiredness. I got it first and "gave" it to Sarah. We both still have some residue, but she recovers more quickly than I do.
I had the worst of it while we were with Marek and Jana in Prague, though with the help of meds it was not too evident. They are doing well. Jana works in a place which helps mostly blind people, and she really loves the work. She also has her own therapy business which she operates out of their home. Marek is involved in Church planting and also his usual summer camp program for youth.
We visited with Jobst Bittner, author of Breaking the Veil of Silence. We spent a couple of hours with him in his church office. You may recall that Jobst put in his book the declaration to the Jewish Community (later called "The Pittsburgh Declaration) which I composed for the first Pittsburgh March of Remembrance.
Even though we were both "under the weather" for most of our time in Berlin, we were still able to accomplish the mission. Sarah joined me for some of the on site praying, and would then take some time to enjoy the city while I engaged in "watchman" activity. As I usually do, I played Scripture all over the city and at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial and House of the Wannsee Conference. Yes, I also engaged in intercession, etc., but can I tell you that I am absolutely certain that the "greatest" service of an intercessor is proclamation of the very, "Words of God"? I am absolutely committed to this. These Words are "God-Breathed" Words. Playing and/or reading the Scriptures is "releasing" the Creative Words, the same Words spoken at Creation the same words that, "are life to those who find them and medicine to their whole flesh." Could this also be a new "take" on, "for the healing of the nations"?!?
I could speak at length on this. Suffice it to say, however, that we encountered more "opposition" on this mission than at any time before, and not just as far as our health was concerned. There was a definite encounter with "the Prince of Germany."
